Our speaker, Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CWO2) Christopher Clark, a native of Beaufort, South Carolina, began his Coast Guard career in 2008 at Station Sandy Hook, NJ. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles, including Assistant Engineering Petty Officer at Station Indian River Inlet, DE, MPA/AEPO aboard Coast Guard Cutter TYBEE, and Engineering Petty Officer at Station Indian River Inlet. He also distinguished himself as a Northeast Regional Fisheries Boarding Officer, successfully enforcing critical fisheries regulations.
In 2021, CWO2 Clark was selected for the prestigious Enlisted Marine Inspector Training Program, completing his training at Sector Virginia. His commitment to professional excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including two Coast Guard Commendation Medals, a Coast Guard Achievement Medal, and recognition as Sector Southeastern New England’s 2017 Enlisted Person of the Year.
Currently stationed at Sector Maryland-National Capital Region (MD-NCR) as a Marine Inspector, CWO2 Clark oversees inspections of foreign freight vessels, small passenger vessels, tugboats, barges, and liquefied natural gas ships, ensuring compliance with maritime safety and security standards.
CWO2 Clark is married to his wife, Holly, and is a proud father to their three children: Caleb, Jacoby, and Willow. He remains active in his community, volunteering as a Little League coach and supporting activities at his children’s schools. CWO2 Clark continues to exemplify the Coast Guard’s core values of Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty in both his professional and personal life.
