Instructor: Captain Tate Westbrook is the CAPCA Director of Continuing Education and is a recently retired U.S. Navy Captain who earned his first master's and mate licenses in 1994 and continued throughout a 28-year Navy career. His service includes Commanding Officer of USS Spruance (DDG 111), Commodore of Destroyer Squadron 60, and Commander of Task Force 65. CAPT Westbrook is the founder of www.TrawlerAcademy.org, focused on recreational yacht training, education, and vessel deliveries.
