Our instructor, Capt. Tate Westbrook, is the CAPCA Director of Continuing Education and is a retired U.S. Navy Captain who earned his first master’s and mate licenses in 1994 and continued throughout a 28-year Navy career. His Navy service includes Commanding Officer of USS SPRUANCE (DDG 111), Commodore of Destroyer Squadron 60, and Commander of Task Force 65. He sails on his license as the owner of www.TrawlerAcademy.org, focused on training, education, and vessel deliveries.
