Captains are frequently on boats with different electronics packages. We typically have our own gear, and we need to be able to integrate with and use the onboard electronics. Captains must keep up with changing technologies and be familiar with many different aspects of marine electronics. Joe will outline the latest in electronics packages. His presentation will include an overview and integration of Multi-Function Displays (MFDs), AIS, and radar, as well as other applications. Joe has twenty years of marine industry experience.
