Captain’s License Renewal for OUPV and Master up to 100 tons

This is a license RENEWAL class. You must already hold a US Coast Guard license.

October 29, 2022 - Sign in 0700. Class time: 0800 to 1600. Exam begins approx. 1700.

This course is intended to satisfy the professional requirement of attending an approved training course in lieu of the 360-sea day requirement as outlined in 46 CFR Part 10.227 (Requirements for Renewal). This renewal class will be used for renewal of an MMC from Operator Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) up to 100-Ton Master for both Inland/Near Coastal waters.

A certificate of completion will be issued to students who attend all required classroom training and who successfully pass the written proctored exam.

The completion certificate will be submitted with the MMC renewal application packet and will be in lieu of the 360-sea day requirement for renewal. Course completion certificates are valid for one year

To receive a course completion certificate on the day of the course, registration for the class, payment, and the NATSEA registration form must be completed by October 14, 2022.
