Captain’s License Renewal – OUPV or Master up to 200 tons

This is a license RENEWAL class. You must already hold a US Coast Guard license.

March 5, 2022 - Class time 7:30 am to 5 pm.

Location: Annapolis Elk's Lodge, 2 Pythian Drive, Annapolis, MD  21037

Cost: CAPCA Members $140; all others $160.

This course will be conducted following CDC  COVID-19 Procedures.

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE HAD THEIR COVID-19 VACCINATIONS AND BOOSTER SHOT AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE COURSE.

The MMC is valid for five years. You can renew anytime before it expires, or within one year after. If you can document 360-days of sea time in the past 5-years, you can renew without taking a class.

This course satisfies the requirement of an approved training course in lieu of the 360-sea day requirement. This course covers  Rules of the Road and general subjects. Upon successfully completing this USCG-approved course, you will receive a certificate that will be accepted by the USCG as part of your renewal application for OUPV or up to 200-ton Master. Course completion certificates are valid for one year.
