CAPCA member Captain Hans J. Hoffmann will draw on some of his many DELMARVA circumnavigations to highlight what it takes to go safely offshore. Key components of his talk will be: Pre-planning, including resources needed and where to find them; crew training, such as vessel operation and watchkeeping; and execution, along with potential hazards and how to avoid them.
