ostponedTheodore Parish, owner of the 1925-26 buy-boat Nellie Crockett, will discuss the history and restoration of this National Historic Landmark. Buy-boats were used to collect oysters from fishermen on skipjacks and other harvesters working oyster beds. The story doesn’t stop there, and Mr. Parish will entertain with the next few chapters of Nellie’s workhorse existence.
